Hanna and Brian are some of the most wonderful, down to earth humans I have ever met. Their wedding day was just down right stunning! Hanna told me the theme of their wedding over a FaceTime call and I instantly freaked out, ready…this is what she said “Natural, Literary, Moody, Sentimental, Romantic, and Ethereal.” Everything I love and more! Their plan was to have books as the main focal point and they used old books as wedding favors, BEST IDEA EVER!

As individuals and as a couple they are always seeking out knowledge, enlightenment and have a deep sense of adventure. Hanna and Brian’s wedding day captured this to a T. They wrote their own vows, which were so incredibly heart felt, I wish I could share them with you! I had asked them what’s the most important thing to them about getting married, and this is what Hanna said, I just love it so much I had to share!

“The focus of our wedding is not about us as individuals uniting, but the overall emotion of love as it is represented through the union of individuals that care deeply for each other. We want to recreate what love feels like to us: it's emotional, sentimental, stings occasionally, can be sad sometimes, but overwhelmingly joyous and deep. We want our wedding, our marriage, to reflect that ideology -- that the best part of being an individual, a human, is that we can feel this range of emotions and deepen our sense of being. The importance of us getting married is that we are best friends exploring the human experience together and cannot wait to live this life of adventure with each other.”

At the end of the night Hanna had a surprise for Brian. She sang a song and played her ukulele for him. It was the most perfect end to the most perfect day! What an honor it was to document their wedding day and their love for one another!
