Kyrgyzstan//Adventure Pt. 1
GRACE JONES
I am always one for adventure. At the beginning of 2013 I was asked by Morning Star Fiber to go on a trip to Kyrgyzstan with them to do photos for a huge project they have going on! Traveling there was so wonderful. I met so many beautiful people and got to experience things I could have never imagined I would be experiencing at the age of 19. I am so blessed and thankful for the opportunity. AND I can't begin to thank all of the wonderful people who helped me fund my trip. God has blessed me greatly with this opportunity. During the next few months I will be doing a few posts about my trip to Kyrgyzstan. Along with all of the stories and the people I got to meet! I can't wait to share this adventure with you! Enjoy!!!
We arrived in the wee hours of the morning. After getting a few hours of sleep the sun came up to greet us to the beautiful country of Kyrgyzstan! We ate breakfast and headed out. We walked around the town and went to the market. Going to markets in other countries is probably one of my favorite things to do. You learn so much about the people and the country. It's a sensory overload; the smell of the food, the sight of the colors and textures, the feel of the ground beneath your feet, the sounds of people bartering in their beautiful languages, the taste of the dried fruits, it's all just so beautiful.
This dog was so cute, so obviously I had to take it's picture. Right after this picture it tried to bite my leg off. I screamed and ran away. All of the locals were practically on the ground laughing their heads off. Glad I could provide some laughs for them. haha
