Miranda + Corey // Kickball, Swenson's and a Wedding // Wingfoot Lake State Park

I remember when Miranda and Corey reached out to me, they told me about how they were doing a bunch of non-traditional elements to their wedding day, including a Swenson’s food truck and playing kickball with all of their guests at the end of the day. They are filled with so much excitement and zest for living. Their beautiful wedding day was at Wingfoot Lake State Park in Akron, Ohio (which is also where I did one of my first weddings, crazy how life brings you in a full circle!)

During their portraits, Corey and I started to talk about pizza and he told me how much he lovesss Chicago style pizza, I think I blew his mind when I told him there is a Giordano’s in Columbus, which they just happened to be driving through as they left for their honeymoon. Mid photos he stops, pulls out his phone and tells Google to remind him to stop and get some on the way to Hocking Hills for their honeymoon. Anyone who loves pizza that much is automatically my friend!

We also got to play on the swings near their ceremony/reception sight. My motto is “your never to old to swing on swings.” I feel like they fully agreed with me on that one.
