Buy A House, Get Engaged // Surprise Proposal // Springfield, Ohio

Robert reached out to me just as him and his then girlfriend were closing on the first house they are buying together. He wanted to surprise the crap out of Courtney with proposing to her in their brand new home. Leading up to the day of the proposal he was texting me photos of his set up and kept me updated on everything he was doing. Can you believe that Robert made the sweet wall that was behind them?! The day arrived and we met at their freshly bought home, he had everything set up and ready to go. Him and Courtney were planning to go to dinner that evening (sort of a lie) so she was getting ready, when she left her house Robert called her asking if she could stop by the new house to turn off the ionizer in the living room (does anyone even know what that is?!) We heard the garage door open and then he got a phone call from, you guessed it, Courtney, asking what she was supposed to do and where it was. Being as quiet as he could be he whispered “it’s in the living room”. Then in she came and there he was, surrounded by candles and lights. After a few sweet words, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. SHE SAID YES! After a bit of celebrating, we went outside to take some photos of their new home and them with the incredible sunset that evening!
