My mom makes some amazing food, and I'm not just saying that because she's my mom. While I was home for Thanksgiving we made cookies, a lot of cookies. ( I would offer you all some, but I am afraid I can't hand them through the computer, but the thought is there and I guess that's all that matters ) 

Many of you probably haven't been introduced to my cat; Frotto. He is fat and so stinking adorable. His favorite thing to do is cook! Every time you start to get out the ingredients, there he is waiting for you to move his stool over to the stove. He loves to sniff each ingredient as you add it to the mixture. He is very good, he just sits and takes in everything you are doing. 

Since I can remember my mom has always written little notes pertaining to the recipe she makes...like the date and what was going on at that time. They are so much fun to read. 

After getting back to Maryland I remembered something; we needed to bring in food for our studio class. So of course I brought in the cookies!
