Rosemary Olive Oil Cake // Experiments in the Kitchen

I had this amazing cake a few months ago at a restaurant in Harrisonburg, VA. Frankly, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. A quick search on the web and I found a recipe that looked promising. (oh boy was it) After a few modifications to the recipe I started to bake. (& take photos of course)

As you'll see in the recipe it calls for chocolate, I decided to make it a little better for you and add walnuts instead of the chocolate. Next I think I'll try it with a citrus twist! Yummm! Everyone who tried it was an instant fan! It has a nice woody nutty flavor, I love baking with olive oil, it really has a nice flavor, and brings out the rosemary in this cake!
